Join us at Canal Projects for a book launch and performance with Three Star Books. Yusuf Hassan (BlackMass Publishing) will unveil the content of this new project in an inaugural presentation, brought to life through a live performance. The event will feature Farris Wahbeh, the Benjamin and Irma Weiss Director of Research Resources and Collection Management at the Whitney Museum of American Art.
Three Star Books × BlackMass Publishing introduces a poetic alphabet that merges BMP’s visual and linguistic elements into a new language. Housed in a clamshell box, it contains over 30 meticulously crafted objects printed on diverse materials such as paper, metal, felt, and papyrus. TSB’s technical expertise and BMP’s radical vision unite to push the boundaries of art, publishing, and storytelling. More than a publication, it’s an interactive experience—an evolving score that redefines the “reader” as an active participant.
